India, crazy India.

We're in India. Chennai, Madras. Tamil Nadu.
Got here thursday night... After a few days of travelling... Started in Istanbul which seems to be a lovely city, only had a day there, though. Spent a day on Sharjah Airport, got to Chennai at 3am. Took a Tuktuk to the Broadlands Hostel, people there let us in, gave us a room. After a lovely shower after like 2 sweaty days and finally slept in a bed again. Went onto the streets on friday afternoon where we got crazy... People, cars, motorbikes, everything was everywhere. Just walked for about 2 or 3 hours then went back to the hostel, comepletely exhausted and ready for a sleep... We went out for lunch, had some faboulus food, everything is nothing but Indian. A full meal including a fruitshake at a clean place costs about 200Rupies for the two of us, that is about 2Euros each.
On the streets you see lots of beggars and lots of really poor people who live on the streets. Its hard to just pass them. Every once in a while a child asks for money or food, lots of older people do so. The people that live on the streets seem not to be interested in tourists and in begging for money, they rather say hello.
One needs to get used to the fact that there are really really poor people same as really really rich people, and that one westerner wont be able to change that. People here seem to be very proud of who they are.
There are colours everywhere. Today we saw the first cows on the streets.
We cant wait to leave this huge city (which is the 4th biggest city of India). Tomorrow we will first go to Bangalore from where we will take another train to Hampi where we will hopefully arrive on Tuesday morning. I imagine it as a light version of Bagan, Burma.
Today i was feeling sick but its already getting better.
Speak soon
